Ken Scally, MSc PhD FRSC
Chemtest - Director of Environmental Forensics
Dr. Ken Scally is an International Environmental Forensic Chemist with 22 years of experience in petroleum hydrocarbon analysis and forensic data interpretation, analytical chemistry, and quality management. He specializes in chemical composition and interpretation of petroleum hydrocarbons in terrestrial and marine environments. Dr. Scally has a detailed understanding of oil chemistry, degradation pathways, aging, and source correlation indicators. He has participated in environmental forensic conferences worldwide and has lectured graduate and undergraduate courses in Environmental Forensics at academic institutes in Ireland and U.K. Dr. Scally’s strengths include project management and a technical / hands on understanding of environmental forensic investigations. Dr. Scally has a MSc and a PhD in Forensic Chemistry and a BSc in Chemistry.
Amy Parekh-Pross (BSc, MSc)
Chemtest – Technical Marketing Manager
Amy Parekh-Pross has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Analytical Chemistry and Regulations, gained by working for over 20 years in the USA and UK. She started off her career at Dames & Moore in Petaluma, California. She has worked as a Laboratory Manger for commercial environmental laboratories before moving into technical roles.
She joined the Senior Management Team in the role of Technical Marketing Manager at Chemtest in April 2016. Amy works alongside the Senior Technical Staff, the Technical Development Team and Account Managers to strategically increase Chemtest’s technical offering to clients in line with regulatory requirements and emerging technologies.
Amy participates in numerous industry committees and has delivered seminars at Brownfield Briefing Conferences, Universities and Contaminated Land working groups. As part of her role Amy also provides in depth technical guidance and training to clients throughout the UK.
