Adam is the Head of Contaminated Land and Remediation for TRC in the UK. He leads a multidisciplinary business providing land condition, remediation and geotechnical advisory services.
Adam is a chartered (CEnv) contaminated land specialist with over 15 years experience working in contaminated land assessment, liability management and remediation. Adam provides expert advice on brownfield land liability and abnormal site development costs, using his understanding of novel and innovative site assessment techniques, coupled with his experience in remediation contracting services.
Adam has delivered hundreds of projects ranging from small residential developments up to and including remediation at the Olympic Park site in London. He has experience of delivering projects across the UK and Ireland as well as across mainland Europe including Poland, where he has lived and worked.
He is a full member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences and an active contributor to their Land Condition Community.
The Anatomy of a Brownfield Specialist
This talk will examine the anatomy of a brownfield professional. Adam will profile the broad skill sets applied by brownfield specialists today and consider the needs of the future. He will also debate how we must upskill the brownfield professionals of tomorrow. This talk will introduce the Institution of Environmental Sciences, exploring their role within the sector, both in promoting best practice and CPD.
