Ralph Pullinger joined Allplan UK Ltd as International Technical Manager part of the team to drive International growth.
For eight years prior Ralph was with Autodesk in Technical Sales roles for Structural Engineering in Northern Europe covering all aspects of BIM including fabrication.
The eighteen years before Autodesk were spent in W A Fairhurst & Partners an engineering consultancy based in the UK during which time Ralph engaged on hundreds of design projects across many engineering sectors.
Ralph is impressed with Allplan and its toolset particularly within the infrastructure market and changing current thinking away from BIM and more to bIM…
Advanced Digital modelling for Marine and Coastal Civil Engineering
BIM has a natural place in the AEC space for marine and coastal engineering but given the unusual shapes it can sometimes be difficult to put into practice. Dry docks, offices and other support complexes can all be served by the use of BIM if managed correctly. Explore how the use of digital advanced modelling tools on structures such as tidal defences, piers, jetties and the like can help unlock greater project design efficiencies for civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
